Our version of 'We want to see Jesus lifted high' recorded at London's Wembley Stadium before a crowd of 45,000 in 1997, has been heard by hundreds of thousands of people. At 100 minutes long, it features a look behind the scenes, as well as performances from Delirious?, Matt Redman, Sue Rinaldi, The Wades and other guests. However, this is the first time that myself and the guys have got together to make a studio album. We wanted to produce something that the people who come to our concerts could take home with them. This album is the result. It is a collection of great worship and praise songs. Some are written and co-written by myself and others are from writers in the UK, Germany, Ireland, and Canada. These are songs that can be sung in local churches and the great arenas. They convey worship, praise, prayer and celebration. Road to Berlin catches myself and the band on the latest stage of a journey that has taken us from the United Kingdom to more than 30 nations around the world.
