| Good weekend in London
Posted on 28th Jan 2008
Had a good time in London this past weekend. Friday night saw around 1500 people gather in Westminster Chapel for the launch of the Global Day of Prayer Event which will take place in London's Millwall football stadium on Sunday 11th May. 30,000 Christians are expected to gather for this event.
Plans were also shared regarding the use of the Emirates Stadium in London in 2009 and then Wembley Stadium in 2010. It would be great to see that 90,000 seat venue filled with Christians from the whole of the UK, coming together to pray for our nation. For more info - Click here!
Sunday morning, Tricia and I led worship for the Kensington Temple congregation that meet at The Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill. It is the oldest theatre in London. Fantastic building! Great to be with our friends from KT and looking forward to being with them again on Saturday 9th February, when Wayne Drain, Tricia and I do their regular Saturday evening Praise Party.
