 | BBC Songs of Praise Posted on 4th Jun 2009 Had a great couple of days on Monday and Tuesday - recording two programmes for the BBC TV Songs of Praise series. These shows reach an audience in the UK each week of around 3 million people and for many, it is their only experience of worship/church. So, a valuable contribution to the spiritual life of the UK. I did not realise how tiring it would be doing these two days. Set-up in the mornings, rehearse in the afternoons and then record in the evenings. Very tired fingers and voice this morning. Had around 400 people in the venue on Monday and around 1000 on Tuesday. The programmes will look great coming from this venue - Kingsgate Community Church, Peterborough.
