 | Sheet music and MP3 for - The Lord bless and keep you Posted on 17th Jan 2011 Many of you have requested the sheet music for the song "The Lord bless and keep you", written by Wayne Drain and myself. I am pleased to inform you that it is now available, together with the MP3 on the Kingsway website. It is good to bless one another. Wayne Drain and I wrote this song based on the benediction of Numbers 6:24-26: "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face towards you and give you peace." This song works well as a final part of a service, when sending people out. I have encouraged people to sing it to each other and we have seen some very moving things happen as they hold hands, embrace and bless one another. It is very powerful when you look at someone and sing "God be with you". The song could be used as part of a dedication service, for weddings, baptisms etc. Also good when we are encouraging people to greet each other with the peace of God, midway through an event.
