Noel & Tricia Richards

In 2010, Noel & Tricia moved to the island of Mallorca in Spain. This is an incredibly beautiful and inspiring place to live. Learning a new language, culture and lifestyle has taken them back to their roots as writers. They are now writing less songs for congregational use and more songs for an audience on a journey to faith. This next section highlights their latest material.

Quiet My Soul

Released September 2017

In the last couple of years, Noel & Tricia have been re-visiting some of their better known songs. Those who have attended any of their recent concerts, will have heard the acoustic versions of songs such as “All Heaven Declares”, “To Be In Your Presence” and “You Laid Aside Your Majesty”.

Talking with their producer – Caroline Bonnett – they decided it would be a great idea to capture these versions of the songs in a live studio setting, simply with acoustic guitars and voices. The only additional vocal and guitar was provided by Harun Kotch (who has played on their last couple of albums).

They wanted to record the songs in the way they are heard at their concerts and this new CD “Quiet My Soul – live acoustic sessions” - is the result.

The CD features 6 of their well known songs, a couple of new ones and a version of the famous hymn 'Leaning On The Everlasting Arms'.

The whole theme of this recording is about finding that place of rest and peace, that comes from our Christian faith.
